The star cast of KABHI KHUSHI KABHI GHAM is swelling with each passing day. Like we know, the film stars the three superstars ­ Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan ­ besides Jaya Bachchan, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor. Now comes the news that Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in a special appearance.

"Yes, Abhishek will be seen in a scene in the film. But we are not sure whether we will retain it or edit it in the final tally. It's not a special appearance, I repeat. It's just one scene," Yash Johar tells me. Incidentally, the Johars have roped in a top name for a cameo. But they have decided to keep his identity concealed.

The shooting of KABHI KHUSHI KABHI GHAM is almost complete, except for a 7-day schedule, which will be completed in July. Meanwhile, the release date has also been fixed ­ December 14. "Yes, we will release the film before the year ends, that's for sure," the veteran film-maker adds.
