Sajid Khan's upcoming comedy 'Humshakals' is apparently not a laughing matter for Bipasha Basu

It appears that all is not well between director Sajid Khan and actress Bipasha Basu who stars in his upcoming film, Humshakals. Buzz is that Bips feels that she is not being given her due in the film even though she is senior to co-stars Esha Gupta and Tamannaah Bhatia.

On the other hand, unit sources state that the makers feel Bips is unnecessarily creating issues for no reason.

An indication that something is amiss was when Sajid recently made an appearance on the reality show, Dance India Dance, to promote his film. Bips was conspicuous by her absence as only Esha and Tamannaah accompanied him. Also, Bips, who actively promotes her projects on her micro-blogging site, has been strangely silent about Humshakals.

Says a source, `Bips appears to be miffed that Tamannaah is being portrayed as the leading lady of the film. Sajid is fond of Tamannaah and he treats her like his younger sister.`


Buzz is that in the film's promos, under Bipasha's insistence, she was given a dialogue to mouth with the camera focussing on her.

The source adds, `Bipasha seems to be having some issue or the other with the film's promotions. She keeps citing time constraints.`
