The viewers of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa are in for a treat as the handsome and dashing Maksim Chmerkovskiy joins the esteemed jury panel along with Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo Dsouza. Popularly known as Maks, the badboy of ballroom dance made an impressive entry into the show with the gorgeous diva Madhuri Dixit and forged a connection with her instantly. Ask Maks how did he feel after meeting the goddess of Bollywood dance? Says the man, `Well, I posted a selfie of her and mine on social media and boom! my phone almost crashed with fan reactions from all over the world! Gosh! I wasn't aware that she was that big! I called up my mom who is an ardent Bollywood fan and asked her about Madhuri and she told me that she is perhaps the biggest Bollywood actress!`

Madhuri however played a perfect host and made Maksim feel very comfortable during the shoot. She guided and educated him about the contestants. While Maksim struggled with understanding the language and even the names of the contestants, Madhuri came for to his rescue and became his official translator! She also taught him a couple of words and phrases in Hindi.


When Palak dedicated one of her famous shayari's to Maksim, Madhuri made an effort to translate every line in English for Maksim's understanding. Whenever Maksim would feel lost during the course of the episode, he would seek help from Madhuri.
