Actor Sohum Shah, known for his performance in 'Ship of Theseus', will be seen playing an investigating officer in Vishal Bhardwaj's next film.

The untitled film will be directed by Meghna Gulzar. Sohum plays a pivotal role in the film along with actor Irrfan Khan. "It is an honour and excitement to share space with Irrfan Khan.

I see it as an opportunity to observe and learn from someone who I believe is one of the finest actors working in the world today," Sohum said in a statement here. "As an actor I would like to do the kind of work that would give me sleepless nights and demand complete submission to my craft.

I admire how Vishal does exactly that to his actors with his films. I hope that I get to work with him often," he said. The intense thriller will soon go on floors and will be released next year.
