Nargis Fakhri and Uday Chopra have been romantically linked for some time now, but neither admitted to being in a relationship. Now we hear that they are no longer a couple. Apparently, Nargis was finding it hard to cope with their long-distance relationship.
A source close to the actress says that while Nargis wanted to focus on her career, Uday wanted commitment and this friction led to their break-up. Post the break-up Nargis is said to have found a new friend in Salman Khan. Apparently, he recommended the actress' name for the item number in his film, Kick.
A source says, `Uday and Nargis wanted different things, plus Nargis was not being able to cope with their long-distance relationship. The couple was on and off for quite some time now before they finally broke up. After their breakup, Nargis was introduced to Salman through a common friend and he is said to have immediately taken a liking to her. Now the actress is doing a special number in the star's upcoming film, Kick.`
It may also be pointed out that when actress Rani Mukerji tied the knot with Uday's brother, producer Aditya Chopra, Nargis had posted on Instagram a selfie of hers on a street in Italy. This fuelled rumours that she had attended the wedding in Italy, which was said to be an intimate affair. Uday was also spotted with the actress at a special screening of her recently released film, Main Tera Hero.
Uday and Nargis remained unavailable for comment.
Online love

Earlier this year, Uday Chopra and Nargis Fakhri's holiday pictures were leaked online. Interestingly, the actor-turned-producer has also made evident his fondness for the actress via social media on several occasions.
Once, he tweeted an image of him drinking from a coffee mug with Nargis' photo on it. On one occasion, he apparently tweeted, `Nargis, did you know we are related.
Your future sons' father is my fathers' son.` After which his best buddy Abhishek Bachchan tweeted, `Get a room kids!` Both these tweets later went missing from the site.
