Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have charmed fans and movie goers with their cackling chemistry and infectious energy in the trailers of 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya'. And the onscreen couple raised the tempo with their shenanigans on the Life OK! Awards stage. The awards were held on the evening of June 23 in Mumbai.

Varun, an excellent dancer and a natural performer, brought the house down with his performance of the party anthem 'Saturday Saturday', and Alia Bhatt matched him step to step in making this performance the best of the night. Humpty and his Dulhaniya also grooved and moved to the lilting melody 'Samjhawan', winning the audiences over.


But what won the crowd over completely, was Alia's impromptu role reversal during this evening. A natural born entertainer, Alia showed her humorous side by proposing to Humpty onstage! Everyone present cheered and clapped continously at their witty repartee and sizzling chemistry on display here. Varun and Alia team up for the second time in 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya', a musical romantic comedy. From the looks of it, these two young stars, who have recently delivered blockbusters with 'Main Tera Hero' and '2 States', will win over the audiences and the box office this June in their fight for love.
