Actor Shaleen Bhanot of "Saat Phere" fame will be seen as a lovestruck baddie in an episode of TV show "Yeh Hai Aashiqui".

The actor will be seen romancing Shamin Mannan, whose love will transform him from a villain into a hero.

"It was great," Shaleen said of his experience of working with the show's team "which is so enthusiastic and passionate".

"'Yeh Hai Aashiqui' is a beautiful concept, it is like an hour long romantic movie with a start and an end on small screen. I'm portraying the role of Rakshit, a guy who illegally transports things for money, whose life takes an unexpected turn when he accidentally meets a troubled girl, Jeeya," he said in a statement.

The forthcoming episode of "Yeh Hai Aashiqui" will be aired on Bindass channel Sunday.
