Armaan and Deeksha promoted their upcoming film 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' with a unique message `Adopt a Dog, Be a Hero`. The event took place on a very large scale covering metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai. The team had taken up the cause of dog adoption for raising awareness about animal welfare all around, receiving 158 registrations from Mumbai and Delhi.

Armaan and Deeksha visited PVR ECX on Sunday. It was a packed house event where kids as well as adults had turned up in huge numbers to support their noble cause. Cute coordinators were dressed up in dog's attire and entertained the audiences present there.

Armaan's thoughts on this noble cause were, `All dogs are human beings and it's a privilege to adopt a dog. If someone calls you a dog, you should take it as a compliment.` Keeping in pace with his thought Deeksha said, `Dogs know how to love since the time they are born.` Since they both are avid dog lovers, this cause is very close to their heart.

This isn't all. An online initiative had also been undertaken where Animal lovers gave their opinions and had extended their support for this cause on the hashtag #AdoptADogBeAHero Tweetathon. The team of 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' was associated with the NGO 'The welfare of stray dogs' on this activity. They promised to donate Re .1 for every hashtag used, to this NGO.


The Augmented reality event was organized at the Infiniti Mall, Malad and Korum Mall, Thane. It was the coolest thing happening in Bollywood for the first time ever. Fans were all brimming with excitement to meet their favorite stars and shake a leg with them using Jaadu Ki Bottle during the event.

This path breaking idea in Bollywood was a huge success. Armaan and Deeksha had actively engaged themselves with the crowd clicking selfies and enacting popular dialogues from the movie which left everyone in splits.

'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' is a love story presented by Illuminati Films and Eros International. The film is written and directed by Arif Ali, who is renowned film maker Imtiaz Ali's brother, and the music of 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' is by maestro A.R. Rahman.

From the same banner that's known for its contemporary love stories like Cocktail & Love Aaj Kal, LHDD is a new age love story about today's couple. The movie is set to release on 4th July 2014.
