The first look of Deepika Padukone's upcoming film 'Finding Fanny' seems to send confusing signals

It is a case of now you see it, now you don't. The poster of Deepika Padukone's upcoming film, Finding Fanny was released on Tuesday.

It has her in a frilly outfit with a blood-soaked cleaver in one hand and what appears to be dead chicken in the other. But interestingly, in her first look, the same snapshot shows the chicken missing from her hand.

Says a source, `Even though the trailer has a sequence of her walking with a chicken in hand and a cleaver in the other, the same snapshot in the first look doesn't feature the chicken; this has baffled many.`

The actress has shared both versions of the picture on her Twitter handle. Says a source, `It appears that the chicken has been edited out from Deepika's first look in order to avoid the wrath of animal activists. In any case, only a teaser has been launched so far and the context is not yet known; it will perhaps all add up when the plot is revealed.`

Directed by Homi Adajania, Finding Fanny has Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur and Dimple as Deepika's co-stars.

When contacted, sources from the production house didn't reveal much; they only said that it was a creative call to edit out the chicken from Deepika's first look.
