Rani who was to visit TV reality show 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja' for the promotion of her upcoming crime thriller 'Mardaani' paid a visit to the doctor recently. But lil did this newly wed actress knew that her some very normal gestures will trigger the buzz about her being pregnant.

But now, soon after getting the sniff of this scudding speculation, Rani has jumped into disaster control mode and has negated all the rumors pertaining to her pregnancy.


In a statement released through her spokesperson Rani has made it clear that she is not pregnant and visited the doctor because she is suffering from viral fever. Besides Rani's spokesperson stated that, Rani went ahead with her prior commitment to visit the sets of 'JDJ' as part of promotions of 'Mardaani' and completed all that was required of her on set.
