Anupam Kher has a phobia of bikes. The veteran actor is petrified of riding a two-wheeler and avoids it at any cost even if a scene demands it. In his upcoming film, Daawat-e-Ishq, Kher had to overcome his fear as he had to ride pillion with co-star Parineeti Chopra for a scene.

This time there was no way out for him as it was an important aspect of the storyline. Unit sources state he was extremely nervous during the shoot and kept chanting, 'Om Sai Ram' whenever Parineeti zoomed for the cameras.


To make matters worse, the makers were planning an event for the film where they wanted to recreate the bike sequence. Last heard, the character actor put his foot down leaving the makers to look for another option. A car, cycle or chopper, perhaps?
