Filmmaker Hemant Madhukar has teamed up with an online booking portal for a three-film deal

Director-turned-producer Hemant Madhukar, of Light And Shadow Films, has now joined hands with online booking portal, Easemytrip.com, for a three-film deal.

Together, the two parties plan to co-produce films centred around the theme of travel. The idea behind this venture is to create entertaining films that will also have travel play an important role in the story.

It may be pointed out that Hemant Madhukar, the son of veteran South film producer and director K Baburao, has already directed three films so far. `We've joined hands with Easemytrip.com's Nishant Pitti, since we realised that our take on films was similar. We want to make a certain kind of cinema for our audiences; I look forward to this association,` says Madhukar.


On his part, Pitti, CEO, Easemytrip.com, too sounds optimistic about their forthcoming projects. `Hemant is a very talented filmmaker and we hope to create something fresh with this three-film deal. Our portal is known worldwide and now we hope to excel in the film production business as well,` he says.

Their first film has been titled Mumbai 125 KM 3D. Directed by Madhukar, this film will release on September 26 this year.
