Producer Firoz Nadiadwala is an angry man today. The accusations against actor Akshay Kumar for having got actor Shahid Kapur's role chopped off has troubled him to no end. He rubbishes the story that Akshay Kumar played dirty with Shahid Kapur.

"There was no question of Akshay having been so unprofessional. In fact, if anyone has to complain about his role being chopped off, it should be Akshay Kumar. He is the one who suggested that his scenes be edited for the betterment of the film. He also suggested that the Maar Suteya song which was shot with Rimii Sen and him be edited because it made the film lengthy."

Nadiadwala continued, "The other scene that was edited was a fight sequence between Akshay Kumar and a stunt man whom we had called all the way from the US. It was to be the highlight of the film but because it did not fit into the story we had to do away with the scene."

"Also the climax scene which was shot with Akshay Kumar in a helicopter was deleted because it made the film lengthy. So how could the media accuse Akshay Kumar of having tampered with Shahid Kapur's scenes?"
