Sources say that the interiors of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's new home will cost around Rs 2 crore

A lot has been written about Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's new house and now the buzz has it that their flat at Carter Road is being done up for Rs 2 crore.

It turns out that their three-floor residence at Pali Hill is actually meant for the senior Kapoors. Says a source, "Neetu and Rishi Kapoor will soon move out of their ancestral house, as it is going under renovation. They will stay at the Pali Hill residence till this work is done. But after the renovation, the Kapoors will move back to their ancestral house.

In the meantime, Ranbir and Katrina are going all out as far as spending on the interiors of their Carter Road residence is concerned."

The source adds that when Katrina recently shopped for kitchen items during her recent South Africa schedule for Jagga Jasoos, she was actually buying stuff for this apartment. "Now they have started working on their Carter Road flat's interiors. It will cost around Rs 2 crore."


Both Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif remained unavailable for comment, but Katrina's spokesperson denied the story. "It's not true," was the reply.
