Actor Salman Khan ups his ante for inaugurating a banquet hall in London and apparently he has charged Rs 3.5 crore as fees for the same from an Indian business family

If sources are to be believed, Salman Khan has been recently approached by an Indian business family to inaugurate a banquet hall in London.

A source says, `Salman is the organisers' first choice of as he has huge fan following in the UK and this Indian family, that owns the banquet, wants him to come down to London for the opening. In fact, they want him to put up an act and meet and greet with guests at the event. It is a two-day programme and the organisers are looking at finalising things for this event next month.`

The actor is said to have agreed to be a part of the event; the source says that he has demanded Rs 3 crore for the same. `Since Salman Khan is a big star, they are okay with paying him the amount, but their only condition is that he needs to come down on a weekend.


On his part, Salman has a tight schedule, so he has been insisting on a weekday programme. He has also demanded another Rs 50 lakh for his staff's travel and accommodation. Now it remains to be seen whether this deal will be track or if it will fall through,` says the source. Salman's spokesperson denied the story.
