Apparently, Shruti Haasan has refused to do a dance number in Kamal Haasan's upcoming movie 'Vishwaroopam 2'

Shruti Haasan was apparently approached for an item number in 'Vishwaroopam 2', but it is said that actress was not too keen to take up the offer.

A source from the industry says that Shruti, who was busy shooting for Welcome Back, was not excited about doing an item number. "Shruti doesn't want to do any item numbers right now. She is concentrating on getting meaty roles and doing full-fledged films," says the source.

On her part, Shruti Haasan denied the story. "Not true. My father and I will certainly work together in the future. We will collaborate on something concrete and with a great script. I am sure my father has made a great film (Vishwaroopam 2) and I am very happy for him," she said.

Vishwaroopam 2 is the sequel to the 2013 blockbuster, Vishwaroopam. This film was a big hit and reportedly earned more than Rs 100 crore at the box office.


The stupendous success of Vishwaroopam has raised expectations for the sequel. Kamal Haasan started working on this project last year; while the film has already been shot, its post-production work is still on.
