Priyanka Chopra is one happy woman! Not just has her performance in MARY KOM won her applause, but the actress is now gearing up for her first home production MADAMJI.

Priyanka will not only produce MADAMJI, which is helmed by Madhur Bhandarkar, but also play the lead role in the film.

Ask her about the film and her foray into production and she says, "I am really happy that Madhur Bhandarkar agreed to be my first director in my home production. It is a big step, a new step in a new direction. I have always looked for reasons to evolve. I am very spontaneous and I wanted to make films. But this came as a great opportunity. I want to promote new talent - writers, directors, actors etc."

So now that Priyanka has turned a producer, quiz her whether a film's collection matters to her now and she admits, "It is a tricky question because I get confused with numbers. I don't understand them. But as a producer my mathematics is great. Budgeting will happen smoothly."
