Hollywood's this years most popular romantic-drama 'The Fault In Our Stars' would soon be seen in our desi avatar.

As earlier we had told you that 'The Fault In Our Stars' would be having a remake, there was a speculation that Alia Bhatt would be seen in the female lead but nothing was confirmed.

Now according to the latest grapevine the leggy lass Deepika Padukone has been cast opposite 'Humty' Varun Dhawan for the remake of 'The Fault In Our Stars'. This would be his second International remake film in a row after 'The Intouchables'.


The story of the film revolves around, Hazel Grace Lancaster, a sixteen-year-old cancer patient who is forced by her parents to attend a support group, where she subsequently meets and falls in love with Augustus Waters. The film is based on a novel by the same name and has been a huge hit in the West.

Withal, we hope Deepika be giving a solid performance and do full justice to the role.
