Mardaani actor Tahir Raj Bhasin the '12th man of the Under-19 team' (as Rani Mukerji referred to him in the film) is suddenly the most valuable player of the season.

The cold-blooded smooth-talking anti-hero of Mardaani will next be seen playing a good guy in Kushan Nandy's upcoming action thriller, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Chitrangda Singh.

The makers were impressed with his screen presence and the way he acted in Mardaani and approached him to be a part of the film. Incidentally, Aamir Khan had raved about Tahir on Twitter after having watched Mardaani.
