Celebrated Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who recently featured in Bollywood movie Khoobsurat with Sonam Kapoor, has all praise for Indian TV soaps. In an interview to a leading newspaper he said that when it came to working capacity of Indian TV actors, he was no match.

Heartthrob of millions Fawad, 32, is the most popular actor in Pakistan TV serials' industry. He quite recently played roles in Hamsafar and Zindagai Gulzar Hai. His work was appreciated in both India and Pakistan.

An Indian TV czar running several channels has launched a new channel for Indian audiences titled "Zindgai" which telecasts on Pakistani TV serials. Indian laws do not permit telecasting of Pak stuff. All Pak channels are banned in India.

In his words, "I don't consider myself so popular as an actor in comparison to the Indian TV stars. I think it requires tremendous amount of talent to do the kind of work they are doing"

Fawad Khan does not regret coming to Bollywood somewhat late where he became a popular face in the sub-continent.

He says that he does not regret coming late to the Bollywood as it was coincidental getting a role in Khoobsurat. He admits that earlier he had no work to show to the Bollywood directors and had he approached the Indian side earlier his attempt would have failed.
