Farah Khan hosted a baby shower for Rakshanda Khan, who happens to be her brother's ex

Not many might know about Farah Khan's fondness for telly actress, Rakshanda Khan. Over a decade ago, Rakshanda was said to be in a relationship with Farah's filmmaker-brother, Sajid Khan. Though the two parted ways, Farah and Rakshanda continue to share warm vibes. In fact, the filmmaker hosted a baby shower for the actress at her Lokhandwala home on Monday.

Says a source, "The past does not come in the way of their friendship. They remain friends in spite of whatever happened."

The guests at the baby shower included TV actresses Shilpa Saklani Agnihotri, Mona Singh, Mouni Roy, Kamalika Guha Thakurta, Shubhavi K, Reshmi Ghosh, Ritu Chaudhary, Tasneem Shaikh besides producer Suhana Sinha, Deepali Issar (wife of actor Puneet Issar) and Neelam Roy (wife of actor Ronit Roy). Rakshanda wore a mom-to-be sash with a tiara made of flowers.


Says Farah, "It was held at my place as my mom and I have always been fond of Rakshanda. All her friends were invited by Shilpa."

Rakshanda wed her long-time beau and TV actor Sachin Tyagi in March this year. The baby is due in January.
