Mahesh Bhatt who was in quite a generous mood as he gifted a book written by himself titiled " A Taste of Life: The Last Days of U.G Krishnamurti " to Ali Fazal.

Bhatt Sahab who is otherwise is seen as a very private person seem to have welcomed Ali with open arms to the Bhatt clan. Ali Fazal was introduced to the legendary Mahesh Bhatt during the casting process of Khamoshiyaan and ever since then the two have shared a great working relationship which soon turned into a personal rapport where the two got along through conversations about the world, current affairs, films and much more.


Ali was surprised to see such a warm gesture from a gentleman he truly looks upto. Confirming this Ali says, " He gave it to me as a sign of friendship.. I share a very unsaid unstated relationship with him.. It's not about exchanging books .. It's ideologies being bartered .. I have grown very fond of bhattsaab.. He reminds me of a pleasant time.. A long time ago.. Two old souls in one room.. It's fire .. His book to me is just his way of saying, keep at it!! I guess.."
