Ibra Khan had made her debut with Subhash Ghai's "KAANCHI" as the sixteen year old sweet little sister of Mishti who played the title role in the film. She is thankful to Subhash Ghajii for having groomed her with a grueling of 38 days Shoot for "Kaanchi" in Nainital and Panchgani.

Her proficient in not only English, Hindi and Urdu, but also in Punjabi.

Ibra Khan, though is talented and is ready for bold roles, provided the script demands and is well presented. She considers actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Ali Zafar, Shah Rukh Khan etc besides Kareena Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Smita Patil, and Alia Bhatt as her inspirations.


Ibra who reiterates that she is very keen  to work in films with directors  who she admire a lot like Kabir Khan, Anurag Basu,Karan Johar, Prabhudeva etc to hone her talent better, confesses that her dream roles are the ones played by Sridevi in "Chandni".

Now she is open for offers from Bollywood, she also has a desire to do south films with top banners and heroes."I will wait for the right launch, m confident" says Ibra Khan.
