Excel Entertainment's Rock On 2 goes on floors in April and Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy have been extensively working on the composition of the songs.

Farhan who has been touring with his band has been actively in touch with them to discuss the advances on the album. Infact he even sits with them on the composition as and when time permits.

Being a musician himself, Farhan loves talking and discussing music. He especially gets along very well with this team and working with them is always something he looks forward to.

The songs for the film need to be ready alongside the film going on floors.


Rock On was a cult classic and the songs of the film were leading chart busters.

Even the sequel will have an interesting mix of music across genres.

The film will feature the epic trio from the first part; Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli. We will also have Shraddha Kapoor joining the cast as the the female lead.
