While we all know that Shoojit Sircar's family comedy drama, Piku is a very special film for Deepika Padukone, not many know that one of the reasons the film is close to the actor's heart is because it helped her brush her driving skills! A source close to the film tells us that one of the sequences in the films required Deepika at the wheel as she drives Amitabh and Irrfan on the highway and that shot infact gave Deepika to drive once more!


The actor reveals, " For the first time in my life I drove on a highway while shooting for Piku. In fact, on one of the last days of the shoot, I drove my team back from the location on the highway to our hotel. It was a great experience. I have now started driving more often in Mumbai too."

Now we bet her fans would love to catch a glimpse of their super star doing that!
