Adah Sharma has been signed by Vipul Shah as female lead with Vidyut Jamwal for 'Commando 2'.

The '1920' actress has begun shoot the Shah-produced film.

"Yes, I've begun shoot already. I'm playing the female lead with Vidyut. My character is requires a lot of action and Vipul sir knows of my training in Kallari Pattu.

"I'm thrilled that Vipul sir put his faith in me and gave me such a challenging role. Its got some very unique characteristics which will be revealed soon," she said in a statement. Adah was last seen in 'Hasee toh Phasee'.

She also made her debut in Telegu films with Puri Jagganath's 'Heart Attack', followed by two other hit films.
