Miss Massachusetts
Alison Cronin
What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
The craziest thing I have ever done was cutting fourteen inches of my hair off for the Locks of Love Foundation this Fall. "Locks of Love" is an organization that provides wigs for children and teens who have lost their hair due to illness. I had hair down to my waist and chopped it shorter than my shoulders!

What are your strongest talents?
My strongest talents are talking to people and relating to all different types of people. I like to listen to others and give them advice. I am also very hard working and determined, and I never give up on my dreams!
Name one person, family, friend, celebrity, who has had the most influence on your life.
My mother, Michele Cronin. My mother has had the most influence on who I am. After my father passed away she was forced to raise two teenagers on her own. Despite the fact that she works full time, she has always made time to attend all of my sporting events and school events, and she even finds time to go shopping! My mother has shown me that you can be a working woman and still be an amazing mother and person.
Describe how you envision yourself in five years?
In five years I envision myself pursuing my dream to be an actress. During college I plan on working hard to build up my resume by being involved in theater and acting classes. Once I graduate I will move to LA or NYC to pursue my dream. Even if I fall on my face I will know that I tried, and the success is that I tried and believed in myself.
What else do you want the judges to know about you?
I would like the judges to know that if I am chosen as Miss Teen USA I will fully utilize the opportunities it will afford me. I will defer from college for the year and put all my energy into raising money for causes and being the best Miss Teen USA ever! Also, I want to be in the entertainment industry so being Miss Teen USA would help me get my foot in the door, and it is an opportunity that I would take seriously.
