Miss New Mexico
Brittany Ann Toll
What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
The craziest thing that I have ever done was about a year and a half ago when I was on a trip with my choir. We were in San Antonio, Texas, and it was early spring. It was about 6:00 A.M., and my best friend McKensi woke me up and said, "Let's go jump in the pool." Mind you, the pool was outdoors and it was a chilly morning. Oddly enough, I agreed, and we ran down to the pool and jumped in with our pajamas still on! It was so spontaneous and crazy, but that morning will always remain in my memory as the craziest thing I have ever done!

I have worked for my mother's clothing boutique.
I once dressed up as the childhood storybook character "Madeline" for a children's birthday party.
What are your strongest talents?
My strongest talents are anything that I can apply my creativity towards. I love designing, speaking, decorating, writing, dancing, singing, and just about anything that allows me to express myself. I love being able to add a little touch of "me" to everything that I do.
Name one person, family, friend, celebrity, who has had the most influence on your life.
The one person who has had the biggest influence on my life is my mother, Rochelle Toll. My mother is not like most, she is more than a "mom"... She is my best friend. After my parents' divorce when I was 12 years old, my mom started her own business from scratch while raising three children on her own. She has taught me many life lessons and has shown me that during the hard times, there is nowhere to go but up. My mom believes in me, and even when there are times when I feel like the whole world is on my case, my mother is always the one person who stands beside me and supports me. Because of my mother's compassion, wisdom and ability to understand me, I am the young lady who is here today.
Describe how you envision yourself in five years?
In five years I see myself finished with college and possibly on my way to higher education. As of right now, however, I am not certain where my life is going to take me. I have the world at my fingertips, and I know that no matter where my life takes me, it is going to be big!
What else do you want the judges to know about you?
I also want the judges to know that I don't "fit it." I never have, and I never will. I am Brittany Toll, and I was born to stand out! All of my peers have always viewed me as "quirky," but I have never cared. I am "quirky" because I am a free thinker and people recognize that. I have realized that being "quirky" and not "fitting in" is an asset because it makes me who I am.
