Crystal Glidden

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Last summer, my friend and I drove right under a tornado! We were on the interstate and she saw it forming. At one point, it began to drop right in front of us. I had no choice but to slam on the gas and drive right underneath the funnel! It was crazy and scary but amazing!

What are your strongest talents?
My strongest talent is definitely working with horses. Horses have been a huge part of my life, and they always will be. I'm a natural when it comes to training, raising, racing, tuning, or fixing horses. I am also a born artist. I began drawing and painting at a very early age. I did not have any formal lessons until I was in high school.

Name one person, family, friend, celebrity, who has had the most influence on your life.
My dad. My dad is an amazingly strong Christian man. He has taught me right from wrong. I developed my strong morals and character because of him. He taught me to be a leader and not a follower, and I credit him for making me the confident person I am today.

Describe how you envision yourself in five years?
Five years from now I will not be married, and I will not have any children. I would love to be modeling in New York, but if that doesn't happen I'll be a world-champion horse trainer.

What else do you want the judges to know about you?
I want the judges to know that I'm a very responsible person who can get the job done. What you see is what you get.
