Where did you grow up? Tell us a little about your home town/city, and family.
I grew up in Cana, a little village in the East of Slovakia. It is a lovely village surrounded by nature. I spent my whole childhood among amiable folks, with my family, which I love so much, being first of all. It is a large family, I have six brothers and sisters and loving parents.
What Jobs have you done? What was the most interesting/bizarre?
As young as 13, I started to make some side money in a café and a betting agency to help my parents out as much as possible. It has returned to me in the shape of my victory in Miss Slovakia. In the frame of my studies at the Faculty of Medicine, I practise as a nurse in a hospital, which gives me great satisfaction. I believe that an ill person can be helped not only by the proficiency of medical personnel, but also by a warm and genuine smile and caring approach. I’m delighted to see a smiling face of a patient when I help him somehow. Since I won the Miss Slovakia 2004 title, I devote myself to modelling, which I enjoy, and it makes me really happy when I’m complimented by my agency and promoters after a fashion show or a different social event. Furthermore, it fills me with happiness when I see and meet people who openheartedly wish me the best and are not jealous of my achievements.
What are your career ambitions, how do you plan to realise them?
I would like to graduate from the Faculty of Nursing and then continue to study medicine. I have no idea what my future is going to be like, but first I’d like to win a place amongst at least the Top 10 of the finalists in the Miss World and thereby promote myself as well as my country, which is so little known to the world.
What is the proudest moment of your life? (Not including winning your National Title)
The achievement I am the most proud of is my success in the prestigious quiz show "Who wants to be a millionaire?" in which I managed to win 1500 euros and get to the 10th question of 15.
What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
My most embarrassing and simultaneously most amusing experience took place during the quiz show "Millionaire " where I had to oppose the quizmaster in front of the eyes of 2 million spectators and tell him don’t confuse me, please.
What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
It is a very pleasant shift and a great responsibility at the same time. Because I have got acquainted with many people that can assist me in the future. I enjoy engaging in all the activities implied by my Miss Slovakia title and they teach me not only to take but also to give out.
Tell us about an interesting event you have attended, or a person that you have met.
I have got acquainted with many celebrities so far but the most stunning was the meeting with Adriana Sklenarikova. She completely charmed me with her looks and behaviour. I would like to be at least as successful as she is. I hope I will manage to do it also by means of the Miss World contest.
What would you like to do, if you became Miss World 2004?
I’m sure I would love to carry out all obligations the title implies with passion and great responsibility, but at the same time I would enrich these duties and activities with my personal emotions and a deeply positive view on life and all people in the world. I hope my face and personality will contribute to even better public perception of beauty.
If you had a personal motto what would it be?
You should live like today is the last day of your life.
Give details of any charitable work undertaken?
I took part in many activities after claiming the title and I do not discern between the charitable and non-charitable ones, because at all of them I am trying to be equally friendly and to completely give myself away in order to put a smile and satisfaction on peoples faces.
