Helena Hietonsson

Helena lives in a little town named Kalmar, situated in the south east part of Sweden, with her parents and elder sisters. Having completed nine years of schooling, she is currently working as a waitress. Her ambition is continue her studies in to the medical field and in the future qualify as a doctor. Her dream is to live by the ocean and enjoy nature, in her spare time she enjoys horse ridding and socialising with friends. Music is another interest of Helena’s.




Where did you grow up? Tell us a little about your home town/city, and family.
I grew up in a small city called Kalmar, it is in the south of Sweden. My father is working in the airport of Kalmar and my mother is a nurse. I have two older sisters.

What Jobs have you done? What was the most interesting/bizarre?
I have just worked as a waitress.

What are your career ambitions, how do you plan to realise them?
I would like to be a doctor, I am going back to school next year.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
I think it was last summer when me and my friends were on holiday in Barcelona.

How has your life changed since winning your National Title?
Since winning the National title I have met many new people.

What would you like to do, if you became Miss World 2004?
I would like to travel as much as possible, meet new people and be a good representative.

If you had a personal motto what would it be?
To treat people the way that you like to be treated.
