Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
My Granny has had a massive impact on my life in recent times. She is very supportive and always keeps my feet on the ground. I try to see her every weekend or have a chat on the phone. It is only recently I have learned to appreciate her wisdom.
What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you (aside from winning your title) and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
I passed my driving test in February and I was driving to work in April, when I got involved in an accident. I hit a lorry and had to be cut out of the car. The only injury I had was a cut on my wrist. I do not think I will ever be so lucky again and it has really made me appreciate driving and the safety aspect as well as living life to the full!
What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
I am currently studying for my degree in technology and design in the University of Ulster and I would like to teach design or work as a free lance designer. In the short term, I like part-time modelling and would like to get the oppurtunity to try TV presenter and travel.
Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
My parents are both shop owners. The first shop we owned was attached to our home house. The local community was small so we looked for a more central premises. We now own a "Centra" convenience store about 5 minutes away from our home house. I am the oldest of 5 children. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister and we are very close. Our house is a bit mad most of the time. We all help out in the business and there is never a dull moment. The front door is always swinging, and you never know who is going to come around the corner next. As I think with any house, there are plenty of rows but the good times far out-weigh the cross words and I love getting home to see everybody.
List any interesting or unsual jobs you may have had.
Escort on Patrick Kielty Live BBC Comedy Show
TV Presenter on Kids & Music Programme.
What is your most unusual talent?
I played the accordian in the local youth band. We played at local functions like carnivals, sports days and St. Patricks Day.
