Age: 23Height: 5'7"
Hair Colour: Black
Eye Colour: Black
Interests: I enjoy travelling, reading, listening to music and shopping. Travelling offers me a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, see new places, experience different ways of life and get to know different cultures. I also love spending time with my family and good friend.
Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
My youngest sister, Renne. I watched her grown up, and her very life warms and glows upon me. As she matures, she laid out a pattern of life which taught me to be responsible and independent. Besides that, she is also the best friend I have ever had.
What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you (aside from winning your title) and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
I accepted and gave my life to Christ on July 1st, 2000. He promises eternal life after death. Through Him, I have found peace and joy. The most interesting thing about me is that I am able to mix around with people no matter where I go.
What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
My career ambition is to be a child psychologist and run my own childcare centre in the future. I have already graduated with a BA in Childhood Studies, and I plan to continue my studies with a Masters in Early Childhood Education.
Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was born and raised in Tawan, Sabah, a small town in East Malaysia. There are 6 of us in the family - my father, my mother, 3 younger sisters and me. I had a happy and simple childhood where I was always surrrounded with family and love. When I was young I was wholly dependent on my family. Everything was taken care of, from food to transportation. Then, one day, I had to go abroad to further my studies and was forced to live on my own. I overcame the challenges and found my independence and confidence.
List any interesting or unsual jobs you may have had.
I worked as a relief primary school teacher. I taught English, Science, Mathematics and Bahasa Malaysia.
