The upcoming sex comedy 'Mastizaade' seems to have hit a roadblock with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) supposedly seeing red over the adult content. The Milap Zaveri-directed flick starring Sunny Leone was supposed to hit the theatres on May 1, but the makers are still awaiting certification.
Says a source at the CBFC, `The film has to go through a lot of cuts, thanks to its bold content. The Censor Board's revising committee will take a final call on the scenes and dialogues that need to be chopped off. Many Board members are not happy with the content and the certification process might take longer than anticipated.`
The film' producer Rangita Nandy declined to comment on the issue. "I am sorry but I am unable to comment on this matter since it is currently before the CBFC."
Zaveri says, "I believe my producer Rangita has responded to you. She speaks on my behalf too."
