Anushka Sharma has reportedly said that she would not have been open to a relationship had she not already felt stable and independent. It was only two years ago when the actress felt happy being her own person that their relationship came together perfectly, stated a report. Anushka strongly believes that when you respect and love each other for the right reasons and for the real reasons, that's when you bring stability and calmness in one another, the report further stated. She was quoted saying that Virat is now family to her and they want each other to be happy. So, if her family or Virat were upset, it would upset her because those are the only people who mean enough to change her mood, the report further quoted Anushka. The Bombay Velvet actress also pointed out similarities by mentioning that Virat knew exactly what he wanted to be from the very beginning and both of them are like kids who come from middle-class backgrounds, and who did well on their own, the report concluded.

According to a report on Pinkvilla.com, Royal Challengers Bangalore's skipper, Virat Kohli, arrived in Mumbai to bring in girlfriend, Anushka Sharma's birthday. The cricketer is leading the side well in the current edition of the Indian Premier League and while he has been touring the entire nation for matches, he made it a point to be in Mumbai for Anushka's birthday. The actress kept the cricketer company in the first few matches of the tournament where RCB played, cheering for Virat and his boys from the stands but later had to get busy with the promotions of her upcoming film,Bombay Velvet. Virat is not the only one who flew all the way to Mumbai to meet his girlfriend on her birthday. In November last year, Anushka had made a quick trip to Ahmedabad to wish the lover boy on his birthday.
