Jimmy Sheirgill and Raghu Ram (of 'Roadies' fame) feature in the upcoming gangster film, 'Vartak Nagar', directed by debutant Atul Taishete. Jimmy essays the character of a gangster while Raghu essays a mill union leader.

Producer Amit Agarwal says, "'Vartak Nagar' is set against the gangster era and the Bombay mill strike of the 1980s.Though I am based in Kolkata, I am teaming up with filmmaker Kunal Kohli and debuting in Bollywood as a producer with this project."

Jimmy Sheirgill is upbeat about playing a don. "It was fun to play a character which is pure evil and also a bit disconcerting at times. My character knows neither fear nor remorse."
