It's official. Priyanka Chopra has stepped in to bail out the Bawejas of the crisis that Kareena Kapoor created by stepping out of the picture at the eleventh hour.
If you want a friend in the film industry, look no further than the lovely within-without Priyanka Chopra.
She goes absolutely out of her way for her friends. The decision to squeeze in Harman Baweja's launch vehicle into her busy schedule is further proof of just how far Priyanka is willing to go to accommodate her friends.
"They were in a bit of a tight spot," she admits from Malaysia where she's shooting for Farhan Akhtar's Don. "And it was a friend's career at stake. So I made a bit of an adjustment to do 2050. But it's not a favour to anyone except me...please!
It's a fantastic role. I get to go into two different dimensions in the same film. It's a fantastic script ...and they's paying me my price. I see no reason why I shouldn't do a bit of date adjustment for a project that seems to have only pluses on its side."
The dates are being worked out at this very moment between producer Harry Baweja and Priyanka's secretary.
Priyanka is aware that Kareena had walked out of Love Story 2050. "I've no idea why she'd do something like that. It's a role I'd stretch myself to do."
