Fashion designer Masaba Gupta and filmmaker Madhu Mantena had a court marriage in Mumbai on Tuesday, June 2.

This was followed by a celebration bash that was attended by several Bollywood folk including Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Many of the couple's close pals had been informed two weeks ago about the registered marriage.

Masaba, daughter of veteran actress Neena Gupta and West Indian cricketer Vivian Richards, says, `It is most likely to be a Caribbean wedding in November." Madhu adds, `The court marriage was just a technicality we wanted it out before the wedding in November.`

Masaba got engaged in March to Madhu, who has produced films like 'Ghajini' and 'Rann' in the past, and is associated with Phantom Films.

Her engagement saw many of Bollywood's A-listers in attendance including Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt.
