Shraddha Kapoor's presence in an upcoming sequel of 'Rock On!!' is said to be making co-star Prachi Desai anxious about her own role

Even before shooting begins for the sequel of the 2008 flick 'Rock On!!', there is buzz about frosty vibes between Shraddha Kapoor and Prachi Desai. Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Prachi reprise their roles from the original film whereas Shraddha has joined the star cast and has been garnering a lot of attention. This has apparently made Prachi jittery about her presence in the project.

Says a source, "From the looks of it, the second instalment is being made out to be a Shraddha Kapoor-starrer. Right now she is on a high, so the makers are cashing in on her success. She will also be singing in the film. Last month, Shraddha even went on a recce with the production team to Shillong when they were hunting for locations."

Shraddha's keen involvement with the makers, who seem to be going all out to promote her, has made Prachi feel anxious and a tad ignored, claim sources. Ironically, the latter was last seen in an item number in 'Ek Villain' (2014) starring Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra as the lead pair.


The source adds Prachi cherishes the project as she made her Bollywood debut with 'Rock On!!', "She is also part of the Azhar biopic with Emraan Hashmi. She is keen to have a firm footing in Bollywood," adds the source.

Rock On!!'s sequel, to be directed by debutant Shujaat Saudagar, is slated to go on floors in August. Shraddha, who is in Malaysia for an awards event, and Prachi remained unavailable for comment.
