The market is abuzz with rumours that two films - Helen directed by Ajit R Rajpal for producers Suresh Nakum and Vipin Medhekar of the The World Networks and Cabaret directed by Pooja Bhatt for producer Bhushan Kumar are both biopics on the legendary dancer Helen.

Incidentally both Poonam Pandey the heroine of Helen and the producer Pooja Bhatt and heroine Richa Chadda of the film Cabaret, posted their first look pictures on the social media over the weekend within minutes of each other.


Poonam had launched her film a few weeks ago during the cricket world cup and Pooja went on the floors recently. Incidentally there is a cricket connection in Pooja Bhatt's film too. Cricketer Sreesanth makes his film debut with Cabaret.

Incidentally Pooja Bhatt used to date Sohail Khan, the step son of the legendary Helen. Pooja Bhatt also has a Burmese legacy like Helen.

Her maternal grandmother was Burmese. So who is making a biopic on the actress?
