Although we are all aware of Tabu playing the role of IG Meera Deshmukh in Nishikant Kamat's next Drishyam, we see that she is one of the actress who is extremely selective about her roles. Even though she has played a cop in Fanna she instantly gave her nod for this one too as she felt the script is extremely gripping. She took extracts from the earlier role and polished herself for this role as it required her to be more dominant. She has proven her versatility by essaying different types of roles in all her films.
