Salman as Sultan Ali Khan is Haryana’s pride

The principal photography of the film has not even begun but Salman Khan's Sultan has already started making headlines.Sultan, backed by Yash Raj Films, will release on Eid 2016,the announcement of which was made by the makers through an interesting YouTube video.

Salman Khan will play a wrestler in the film. In the video, we hear fervent commentary on a wrestling match, which is going to be fought between Rakesh Sangwan and Sultan Ali Khan (Salman Khan). The Haryanvi commentator addresses him as'Haryane ki shan, Haryane ka sher, Haryane ki jaan, Sultan Ali Khan'which speaks volumes about the powerful character Salman will portray in the movie.

The video also shows a quote by Sultan Ali Khan, which reads, 'Wrestling is not a sport. It's about fighting what lies within'. The shooting for the film will commence in November 2015. There has been no official announcement onSultan'sfemale lead.
