Mark it in red letter. On May 14 Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka will be shooting the historic Khai ke paan benaras wala song in Don.

And the song will be choreographed by none other than the dancers' diva Saroj Khan.

History has a strange way of linking its children.. 26 years ago Saroj Khan's mentor and guru P.L. Raj had choreographed Khai ke paan benaras wala for Chandra Barot's Don.

The song had been filmed on Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman.

Says Saroj Khan, "I'm looking forward to doing a song that P.L. Rajji had done. But I can't do it the way he did it. I'll obviously choreograph it keeping in mind Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka and the changing times and tempo."

Saroj Khan is charged about working with Priyanka. "After my two favourites Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit and Madame Aishwarya Rai, I see the dancer's grace in Priyanka. I hope she's looking forward to working with me, as much as I am."

Priyanka squeals in delight at the mention of the super-choreographer. "It's been my dream to work with Saroj-ji. I can't tell you how excited I am about working with her, and that too for Khai ke paan benaras wala with Shah Rukh. Pinch me when I'm awake."

Incidentally the Shah Rukh fan club has a new honorary member. "I've been his fan for...like forever. But working with him I've become a double fan. He's such a generous co-star. He's always helpful, constantly trying to make me comfortable.

Shah Rukh is addictive. I want to work with him again and again. I'm so looking forward to shooting Khai ke paan banaras wala with him. "

Earlier Shah Rukh shot another Don memorabilia Yeh mera dil with Kareena Kapoor. That number was choreographed by Farah Khan.
