Daughter of actor Randhir Kapoor and Babita, Karisma gave some memorable performances in films like "Anari", "Raja Babu", "Coolie No 1", "Saajan Chale Sasural", and "Jeet", but bagged laurels for her acting in "Raja Hindustani", "Biwi No. 1" and "Dil to Pagal Hai". Her critically acclaimed films include "Fiza" and Shaym Benegal's "Zubeidaa".
"Right now she is very happy in her space. I doubt if she is ready for that (films) or not. She is not thinking of doing anything," Kareena told PTI in an exclusive interview here.
National award-winning actress Karishma married Delhi-based industrialist Sunjay Kapur in 2003 and have two children - Samaira and Kiaan Raj. The couple had a difficult marriage and have filed for a mutual divorce. She took a sabbatical after marriage but made a comeback in 2012 with film "Dangerous Ishq" which bombed at the box office.
"I don't think she wants to come on screen again but she does lots of advertisements as that doesn't take much time. She is looking more pretty after the kids and I don't think she can dedicate that much time," she said. Kareena says she looks up to her sister and calls Karishma as her "inspiration".
"She always advices me and been an inspiration not for me but for other women as well. She is looking best even after having two children. I will always aspire to be like her," Kareena said.
When asked on her juggle between profession and personal life, the "Jab We Met" actress said for her, family comes first before everything.
"I have always been a responsible daughter and sister. For me my family comes first before anything else in life. Work is not everything for me. I always try to take out time for mother, sister, niece and nephew. It's important to spend time with the loved ones," she said.
The 34-year-old actress is looking forward to her next release "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" opposite Salman Khan. She will be later seen in Abhishek Chaubey's "Udta Punjab" alongside actor Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
