The makers hired a specialist in maharasthrian traditional clothing, who was hired only to dress PC up, in the traditional looms to maintain authenticity as PC wanted her character to look as traditional as possible.

The lady from pune also used to converse with PC in marathi which helped her diction in the film and also helped her in picking jewellery in each outfit.
