Against the backdrop of a romantic view, Alia is seen kissing Shahid Kapoor on his cheek and an airplane is seen leaving a vapour trail depicting two hearts, similar to the teaser poster released on Tuesday.
Karan announced the news on micro-blogging site Twitter on Tuesday by sharing a photograph of Alia and Shahid.
`And they wake up tomorrow... @aliaa08 @shahidkapoor #ShaandaarFirstLookTomorrow,` Karan captioned the image, in which both Alia and Shahid can be seen against the backdrop of a romantic view.
While Alia is seen sleeping on a wooden bench, Shahid is leaning his head on her elbow. An airplane is seen leaving a vapour trail depicting two hearts.
Shahid also shared the image, and tweeted: "Falling off to sleep, wake me up tomorrow #ShaandaarFirstLookTomorrow," while Alia wrote: `Sleeping... DND till tomorrow!!! #ShaandaarFirstLookTomorrow.`
Directed by `Queen` director Vikas Bahl, `Shaandaar` also stars Pankaj Kapur and Sanjay Kapoor.
