If industry buzz is to be believed, filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj is scouting for a newcomer to be cast in a supporting role in his ambitious project, 'Rangoon'. Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have already been signed for the lead roles.

Says a source, "Though the main cast has been locked, he is still looking for a girl who can play the second lead in the film. Many aspirants are being auditioned daily, but he is yet to find someone suitable. He does not want someone gorgeous, but an ordinary looking girl. She will have a powerful character."

Vishal Bhardwaj was unavailable for comment.

'Rangoon', which will go on floors by the end of this year, will be set against the backdrop of the Second World War (1939-45) when the British Army fought against Subhash Chandra Bose's Indian National Army in Myanmar, called 'Rangoon' in those times.
