‘Corporate' is different from regular films: Madhur Bhandarkar
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar doesn't believe in treading the beaten path, and is once again traveling
down the lane of experimentation with his newest venture ‘Corporate'.
Bhandarkar said: "I have always been proclaiming myself that I am not a commercial director, I am an
experimental filmmaker. I love to experiment. I have always tried to experiment with different- different
kind of films whether it is films like 'Chandani Bar', 'Satta' or 'Page 3'".
Talking about the film, he said: "Like them, my upcoming movie 'Corporate' is going to be another film
different from the regular kind of cinema as 'Corporate' will be a film on the board room politics, the
atrocity and the insight point of view that what happens in the corporate world and human relations".
The movie, which boasts of stars such as Bipasha Basu and Kay Kay Menon as well as Rajat Kapoor,
Raj Babbar, Harsh Chhaya, Minissha Lamba and Sameer Dattani, exposes the darker side of the
corporate world.
The story of ‘Corporate' revolves around an ambitious young woman who becomes a pawn amidst the
power played between two rival corporate houses.
The film takes a deep insight in the mindset
of powerful people and their attempts to find out what makes them tick. It explores the nexus between
the corporate and the political world
‘Corporate' is poised for a theatrical release on 7th of July, 2006.
