Director Kabir Khan's upcoming action thriller Phantom, starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif, and based on the aftermath of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, will take its audience to places that haven't been seen on screen before.

Besides shooting in Syria and Israel, ten percent of the film, that is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, has been shot in Lebanon. The film's team shot in downtown Beirut, the populous areas of Khandaq al Ghamiq and the mountainous regions of Kfardebian. Moreover, they also shot pivotal scenes at Oval, London.

That's not all - even for the scenes shot in India, they opted for newer locations. One of the most challenging schedules was in January, in Gulmarg, Kashmir, when the temperature dropped to minus 10 degrees. This was followed by a schedule in Malerkotla in Punjab, which was passed off as Pakistan in the film because of the similarities in the narrow lanes and the textures.
