Imran Khan has apparently opted out of an 'Force 2' as he prefers to keep away from daring manoeuvres. We list other Bollywood stars and their inhibitions...

From enacting quixotic stunts to gyrating around snow-capped mountains in barely-there clothes, many unbelievable stuff are part of an actor's job.

Imran Khan had been offered to play the parallel lead in John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha-starrer 'Force 2', but he is rumoured to have walked out of the project.

And in doing so, the actor comes face to face with his/ her inhibitions. Some take it in their stride while others fight shy of it. Imran Khan belongs to the latter category. He was supposed to feature as a baddie in the upcoming sequel of the 2011 action flick, 'Force', starring John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha starrer. But he has apparently opted out of the film and 'Mardaani' actor Tahir Raj Bhasin has replaced him.

Now, Imran is known to be not exactly comfortable doing high-octane action sequences. Though he has been part of films like 'Kidnap' (2008) and 'Luck' (2009) that had stunts, the actor preferred to steer clear of them.

Many actors have their reservations about doing certain things on screen. hitlist takes a look at some other stars and their insecurities or fears...

Stunts make her jump
Another star who avoids actioneers like the plague is Kareena Kapoor. After her 2012 film 'Agent Vinod', Bebo had declared that she would not do an action flick again.

Kareena Kapoor is scared of doing high-octane action scenes

The actress, who considers herself a diehard romantic, finds no fun in stunts. She is terrified of car chase sequences, gunshots and hanging mid-air. Bebo loves doing glam roles, but since she has become script wise of late, she might do a rethink about high-octane stuff.

Have feet, won't dance
Ajay Devgn balanced himself on two bikes in his debut flick 'Phool Aur Kaante' (1991) and continued the act in the 'Golmaal' franchise, even riding astride two horses in 'Son Of Sardaar' (2013). But put him on the dance floor and he gets the heebie-jeebies. It is well known that Devgn has two left feet. The actor had sportingly accepted Prabhu Dheva's challenge for a face-off in 'Action Jackson' (2014) despite his inadequacies, but his efforts fell flat.

Ajay Devgan, John Abraham and Salman Khan are known to have two left feet, but have not allowed their amusing dancing skills become their Achilles' heel

Salman Khan and John Abraham are two other actors who would rather be off the dance floor. Sallu is known to never rehearse for a dance act like his contemporaries do for days together before the camera starts rolling. He matches steps just before the shoot begins and improvises too.

John, on the other hand, is more comfortable displaying his bulging biceps and six-pack abs than putting his dancing skills to test. The actor would not mind hanging mid-air from a plane, but staying grounded and grooving to music is just not his forte.

Tress control
Katrina Kaif is quite fussy about her hair. If you go through her filmography, what remains constant, besides her English accent, is her straight flowing mane. The actress prefers to be repetitive when it comes to hairstyles, with just perhaps a curl here and there. Kat feels no other look suits her and is too scared to experiment. It must have been a daunting task for director Abhishek Kapoor to get her to colour her mane red for the upcoming film, 'Fitoor'.

No silence, please
Sunny Deol can't do anything that does not involve venting out his ire in his typical brawny style. The actor stays away from silent, brooding characters since he likes to be loud and clear. His trademark yelling is what sets him apart from other actors.

Double trouble
Ranbir Kapoor refuses to be part of two-hero films. He can't see himself share screen space with another male actor in a leading role.

The star believes that he can carry a film on his own shoulders and does not need support of other male actors.
